More than a festival — a community
Regina Halal Fest was born from a simple idea: create a space where the whole community can come together to share food, culture and connection.
Launched in 2025, our inaugural festival exceeded every expectation — welcoming over 10,000 attendees, featuring 70+ vendors, and reaching 52,000 people across social media.
Our mission is to create a fun, safe and inclusive environment where community members, families, food lovers and visitors of all backgrounds can come together — to celebrate cultural heritage and build meaningful connections.
With the support of our city and a passionate team of volunteers, we're building an annual tradition that Regina can be proud of. And we're just getting started.

On behalf of my City Council colleagues and the City of Regina, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2026 Regina Halal Fest.
This vibrant community celebration is a wonderful opportunity for residents and visitors to come together to enjoy delicious food, cultural experiences, local businesses, fun activities and entertainment. Regina Halal Fest showcases the rich diversity of our community while fostering understanding, connection and inclusion.
As Mayor, I am proud to support events that celebrate the many cultures, traditions, and contributions that make Regina such a welcoming and vibrant city. Festivals like Regina Halal Fest bring people together, strengthen community bonds, and remind us of the value of diversity in enriching our shared experience.
